DSCT coronary imaging: Clinical case #I1

A 69-year-old woman was admitted to a cardiologist because of atypical chest pain at rest. She had several risk factors including hypertension, familial history, dyslipidemia and stress. The patient was unable to exercise because of moderate aortic and mitral valve insufficiency. The patient was sent for dual-source CT examination of the coronary arteries.
DSCT coronary angiography was performed at an average heart rate of 71 bpm, a pitch of 0,22 and an acquisition time of 11,1 seconds.
