DSCT coronary imaging: Clinical case #A6

A 63-year-old man was admitted to the emergency room because of chest pain, quite typical for angina, occurring at rest. The risk factors included hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia and smoking stopped in the past. The ECG and biochemical abnormalities were normal. The patient was unable to exercise because of severe dyspnea.
DSCT coronary angiography was performed at a mean heart rate of 63 bpm, a pitch of 0,2 and scan time of 10,5 seconds.
